Position: Service and Support Engineer

The Department

Inala Broadcast's Service and Support Department provides multi level technical support, case management and problem resolution.   Acting as the focal point for all communication and case escalations, resulting in quick responses and actions for customers resolutions.

Responsible to

This role reports directly to the Service and Support Executive.


Must have at least Diploma in Electrical engineering – light current or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 4 years experience working in the broadcast industry.
IT or Networks certification will be a plus.

Skills and duties

Must have an aptitude in board level broadcast equipment repairs.
Must be able to do broadcast system diagnosis on customer sites.
A+ and N+ level knowledge of computers is required to confidently complete service issues on customer On-Air sites.
Must have good understanding of fault reporting.
Ability to communicate with customers and principals 
Courteous with clients and principals
Ability to report internally and externally with our principal support centre .
Initiate, attend and chair service and support meetings with our clients.
